Methods of Conservation: Reduce and Reuse

Recycling is a widely used method of conservation across the world. Recycling is a process by which a product’s life is extended by reusing it as an input or output. Turning products that would otherwise be thrown away into something new. Recycling serves a great benefit to our environment and community.

There are several different benefits to recycling:

1. Saves energy

2. Reduces waste sent to landfills

3. Creates jobs in the recycling and manufacturing industries

4. Prevents pollution by reducing the need for new raw materials

5. Conserves natural resources
